In the grey VoIP business, the direct Terminator takes the highest risk
and puts in the most work. Many times they don't get the rates they
deserve and often they dont get paid at all. This is mostly due to the
numerous fly-by-night middlemen (brokers) that come between the terminator and the end client (the retailer).

Getting Paid
Brokers and small wholesalers don't always understand the market or make
good decitions of which retailer to extend credit to. Many times they dont get
paid and it is always the Terminator that suffers for the Brokers bad judgement.
Woudn't you rather deal with ONE company that you know is going to pay
instead of many that might not?

Waiting for TrafficA Terminators fixed cost is sometimes very high with
elevated bandwidth costs, fixed line fees etc. It is important that you get
traffic as quickly as possible. Do you have time to wait a week for the Broker to
send out their sales orders? Woudn't you rather go to a company that has
running traffic and doesnt waste your time?
